↖ Unlocking The Gauntlet

• Dive right in: If you want to get started on your quest for power and prestige, go ahead and start up Diablo 4. Once you're in-game, head on over to Gay Acool. Not sure where that is? No worries! It's located towards the bottom left corner of the map.
• The Horn of Trials: Once you've made it there, look for a quest marker. When found, interact with a massive horn nearby to reveal the trials page.
• Weekly Schedule: Before we proceed any further, let me quickly mention one important thing. The Gauntlet closes every Tuesday at 8:00 AM Pacific Time. However, it reopens roughly two hours later at around 10:15 AM Pacific Time.

↖ Tips for Success

• Iron Keys: You'll need these keys if you want access to chests within the gauntlet. But be careful! Using them will cause them disappear once you leave the area.
• Get Familiar With The Map: Though this might seem like an obvious tip, many players neglect doing so. Don't be like them! The layout remains consistent week after week, so take some time after each run to learn from your mistakes and plan out better routes for next time.

- Explore As Much As Possible Early On

Your first run through might leave some areas near uncharted territory as they often do in games like this. Instead of seeing this as a failure though, use it to grow stronger during later attempts!

In order to maximize your score before running out of time (and sanity), keep an eye out for places on the map that contain high-value targets such as locked chests and bosses. This will take some time, but I guarantee you it'll be worth it!

• Monitor Your Progress: While running the gauntlet, make sure to hop back into Gay Acool every now and then. This will allow you to check your progress at any time by viewing one of the leaderboards displayed in the trials page.
• Sort By Class: If you're curious to see how well you're doing compared to other players with similar playstyles, make use of this feature!
• Seals Are Always Nice: We get it — everyone wants to see themselves at the top of a leaderboard. But don't forget that these precious seals can still be acquired even if you aren't ranked number one.

↖ Optimizing Your Runs

- Study Your Previous Attempts

One would think this would be fairly obvious for games like this, but so many players don't do it! Instead of simply restarting right after you die or run out of time, look at how much progress you made and review what went well/what went wrong. Did you pass an area filled with elites? Was there a shrine hidden away behind a wall? Note down everything so that you won't miss it again next time!
