Diablo 4 Season 3 Best Necromancer Tier List Builds for Speed Duriel Farming
Welcome to our guide on the Necromancer build tier list for Diablo 4 Season 3. As the go-to source for all things Necro, we will be diving deep into the most powerful builds that have been shaping the game's meta. Whether you're trying to optimize your nightmare dungeon clear speeds or just looking for the best strategy to take down Duriel, this guide will rank and dissect various builds by their strengths and weaknesses.
- S-Tier: Bone Spear & Blood Surge
- A-Tier: Blood Lance & Sever
- B-Tier: Summoner & Infinium
- C-Tier Options: Bone Spirit & X'Fall's Corpse Explosion
- Emerging Builds: Mel Minions & Bombardier
↖ S-Tier: Bone Spear & Blood Surge
Starting off strong is Bone Spear. Known as an unmatched single-target destroyer, it excels in boss encounters like Duriel. Although it lacks some area-of-effect (AOE) power due to its high direct hit damage. Despite this small setback it maintains its S-tier status because of its overall efficiency and power.
Joining Bone Spear is Blood Surge. It has one of the highest AOE reaches while boasting high damage output. Even though it does lack a bit in single-target scenarios, it destroys groups of mobs in nightmare dungeons with ease. Blood Surge will always be a top pick for those wanting clear speed with overall dungeon dominance.
↖ A-Tier: Blood Lance & Sever
Blood Lance comes up next having serious firepower with its damage capabilities requiring more setup time for full potential than others on this list but can still kill Duriel faster if set up right giving it a spot at A-tier.
Sever has great balance between speed and versatility shining in nightmare dungeon runs as well as holding its own in boss fights killing bosses fast enough to rival S-tier options.
↖ B-Tier: Summoner & Infinium
Summoner build pure and simple while able to complete all game content falls behind others due to lower damage output and reduced mobility compared to them expect slower pace and harder experience.
Infinium faces similar challenges post-nerf with significant reductions in lucky hit chances affecting both single target and AOE effectiveness. While it can still clear content Infinium now struggles to keep up with higher tier builds in terms of speed and efficiency.
↖ C-Tier Options: Bone Spirit & X'Fall's Corpse Explosion
Bone Spirit once held high praise but has dropped due to performance in group play and extra setup for maximum efficiency in nightmare dungeons. Still potent in solo boss farming but doesn't match the output of higher-tier options.
X'Fall's Corpse Explosion is also inconsistent relying on lucky hit procs to deal high damage for its AOE. Also slow boss kill times further pushes it down the list into C-tier.
↖ Emerging Builds: Mel Minions & Bombardier
Mel Minions focuses solely on minion attacks to clear nightmare dungeons fast through rapid AOE clearance. It doesn't reach S-tier speeds but beats Bone Spirit and challenges Blood Lance in some scenarios.
The Bombardier build is gaining ground for its great AOE damage and respectable single-target capabilities. It's neck and neck with Sever and you could easily make the case that it's better depending on player preference.
Bottom line is, all Necromancer builds can clear Diablo 4's Season 3 content. The only difference is speed, ease of play, all determining what level of a hierarchy you'll end up in. If your ideal build choice prioritizes AOE clear speed or boss-killing efficiency.
