Diablo 4 Season 3 Most Powerful Classes and builds Rankings
As we mark over a month with Diablo 4's Season 3, its community has begun to discuss the most powerful classes and builds that are currently available. With each new season comes new ways to play, and now is the perfect time to look back at how these approaches are used. This article offers an extended tier list pointing out the sheer power and utility of each class post latest patches.
- B-Tier: The Underappreciated Necromancer
- A-Tier: Diverse and Dynamic Druids and Sorcerers
- S-Tier: The Dominant Rogue
- The Unmatched Barbarian: Thanos of Diablo 4
- Conclusion: A Dynamic Season Ahead
↖ B-Tier: The Underappreciated Necromancer
Looking into B-tier, it's a bit odd at first glance that Necromancers are still here. Many believe they should be at least C-tier considering their potential - but this isn't the case. The class has had minimal changes this season which in return make it unable to fully shine. Its most viable build continues to be Bone Spear, while Bone Spirit does receive one notable buff. However, there still aren't any effective minion builds in sight and its slow gameplay speed keeps it from rising up higher. Hopefully fans of the class will finally get what they're waiting for soon.
↖ A-Tier: Diverse and Dynamic Druids and Sorcerers
Druids have seen significant buffs this season - especially Lightning Storm which gives them an overall better experience during gameplay. Their movement compared to other classes can be described as sluggish yet very powerful when needed on top of their Unstoppable force ability.
Sorcerer has always been a mainstay for many players in every game aspect since they always bring versatility due to their various builds. They also have unmatched mobility thanks to their teleportation skill even if their damaged numbers may never reach what others can except with ease of use.
↖ S-Tier: The Dominant Rogue
At S-tier we find Rogues who were already dominant last season but continue to exceed expectations with damage output this one as well. Penetrating Shot builds alone have been doing damage in the billions. While they may not be that much of a tank compared to other classes, their agility paired with dodge abilities makes up for it - almost. The only weakness Rogues have is their limited build variety but it continues to keep them at the top.
↖ The Unmatched Barbarian: Thanos of Diablo 4
And now we've finally reached the creme de la creme class, Barbarians. They're held at such high regard since players love hitting big numbers and being able to survive while doing so. Barbarians have and will always provide both of these things which make them this season's best class hands down. However, one thing fans do hate is its leveling phase because it can get slow and boring but it's all worth it in the end.
↖ Conclusion: A Dynamic Season Ahead
Based on power and utility this tier list reflects current standings for each class as of now during Season 3. It's clear some have been able to outperform others but remember that balance isn't something that comes fast or easy for Diablo 4 developers. There are always going to be ranks changing along with nerfs and buffs fans won't like but just know that they're making changes for a reason. May you agree or disagree with this tier list let's all just engage in healthy conversations instead of turning them into arguments which ruin the whole point of playing the game
