↖ D-Tier: Summoner Necromancer

Summoner Necros have been a bit of a thorn in Blizzard's side. Even though they can clear Tier 100 dungeons and kill every Uber boss, including Uber Lilith, their speed is abysmal compared to other builds. Until level 70-75, this build levels fast. It slows down after that due to bad multipliers and its almost requirement to wear Ring of Melancholy and Eld's Bloodstone. Lovers who don't mind playing solo with ghost friends will be able to clear all content.

↖ C-Tier: Blood Surge Necromancer

You might think putting Blood Surge in C-tier is unfair because it levels well and clears rooms easily. That doesn't stop it from being garbage against bosses though. The ability scales based on how many enemies there are and less enemies means less damage. Resource support on Diablo 4 items like Robe of the Archmage makes sure you can keep casting Blood Surge, but you'll hit a wall when trying to do damage to solo targets.

↖B-Tier: Shadow Builds

In B-tier we have two different Shadow-based builds: Giga-DOT and Blood Wave Necro. Giga-DOT (Eld's Bloodstone + Xel's Corroded Signet) does massive amounts of crit damage with your skeletons thanks to shadow spells. And Blood Wave sends out constant waves of blood infested shadows with near zero cooldowns.This build shines if things stand still but struggles against bosses that move around.

↖A-Tier: Bloodlands & Blight Corpse Explosion

Bloodlands with Black River turns physical damage into room-clearing monster Corpse Explosions that hit in the millions. Combining this with massive crit strikes makes for a deadly combo. Similarly, Blight takes advantage of Army of the Dead to flood your screen with corpses to blow up. Both are incredible at clearing rooms and killing bosses, making A-tier a very solid spot.

↖S-Tier: Bone Spear & Bone Spirit

Bone Spear and Bone Spirit builds claim both S-tier spots. With Everknight and Genesis Stone they do crazy amounts of damage. Add on top Uber uniques like Ring of Starless Skies or Melted Cell Grandfather and you've got one-shot potential on nearly any boss in the game. The advantage over Shadow builds is the lack of wait time; no need to watch DOTs tick down — just instant death

↖Super S-Tier: Bone Spear with Black River

The best Necromancer build this season is Super S-tier Bone Spear with Black River turned Corpse Explosion spam while also having high Essence levels for maximum damage output, it's survivable, versatile, and stronk enough to handle anything the gauntlet leaderboard throws at it.
