We've got a little trick that will help you double your Cinders, and by extension your Living Steel. The only catch is that it's console-only. But if you're here, I'm guessing that isn't an issue for you.

↖ Step 1: Set Up a Secondary Account

First things first, create another account in your PlayStation or Xbox, then link it to your Battle.net profile. If you already have one (like if your girlfriend plays on your PS5), then just skip this part.

↖ Step 2: Boost Your Secondary Character

You'll need to hit up the World Tier 4 areas to get those sweet Living Steel rewards. Just carry your secondary character through the World Tier 2 and 3 Capstone dungeons using your main and enjoy the ride. Since they're right next to each other thanks to local co-op, carrying them should be easy.

↖ Step 3: Begin the Helltide Grind

Now head over to the Helltide area with both characters in World Tier 4. Use the map to find where the Living Steel chest is, then pin it. Ride up near it on your main while leaving your second character nearby downed and collecting Cinder passively as you scoop them up with your main.

Pro Tips:

- Turn off crossplay so friendly strangers don't ruin what we're trying to accomplish here.

- Stay close enough together so that being too far away won't auto-resurrect them when something dies near them somewhere else on the map cluster or they resurrect around a different chest, leading to a loss of Cinder because now there's two chests open instead of one.

↖ Step 4: Cash In Your Cinders

When both characters have reached about 275 Cinders, clear out the enemies around the chest so you have a safe zone to resurrect your second character. Bring them back and then open the chest with your main. You'll get double the cinders this way, which means double the Living Steel.

↖ Step 5: Rinse and Repeat

Just do it again at another Living Steel chest. If you've got another high-level character, throw that one in instead of your second account's low-level alt for even more gains.

There are faster ways to get Living Steel, but this is by far the most laid-back method we've found. Plus, fighting demons is always better when you're cozy on a couch. Give it a shot and see what happens. In about 30 minutes you could find yourself with 20 Living Steel!
